Rocky's Retreat - Private Events

New! Escape from the Isle of Neblar! Turn your event into a scene straight from Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom. This "escape room" type experience is perfect for older children, age 8-14. The clock is ticking to find a way off the Island before the volcano blows. Participants will hunt for clues in our custom mobile app scavenger hunt experience  27 augmented reality lifesize dinosaurs.  Along the way, they will dig for clues in our "Excavation Zone", assemble oversize dinosaur skeletons, race through an obstacle course in our gyrospheres dodging dinosaurs and a volcanic eruption! We turn our pool into a lava lake that our gyrospheres can navigate across on top of the water. But the only way off the island is to complete all the challenges and find the radio somewhere in the dinosaur poo!  Along the way, participants will get to interact and learn about the dinosaurs with our realistic dinosaur puppets Rocky the walk around Trex and Razer the Raptor.

Included in this event :is our amazing dinosaur themed venue, eating area, arcade, Amka's Ice Cream, Jurassic World Gate, 8 ft volcano and fogger, 5 animatronic rides, two gyrospheres, 12 dino dung piles, Jurassic Genius mobile app, fossil skeleton puzzles, and Fossil Zone,  You can add our an animatronic nest, scenic backdrops, photo prop eggs, our photo booth and Amka's ice cream to complete the experience!

Ever dream of being a Paleontologist? At Rocky's Retreat, with Tinker the 30 foot Trex skeleton looking on, children will learn with hands on activities how fossils are made, where they are found, how they are excavated, and identified. This party is designed for children 7-12 years old and aligns with Next Generation Science Standards. This party lasts approximately 2 hours depending on the number of children.

Activities include:

• Complementary Party Invitation pack-Personalized invitation, thank you card, party favor tags, water bottle labels, birthday banner, Cupcake toppers, food tents. Print these on your own color printer and card stock or take to Kinkos or a vendor online.
• Examine the skulls of reptiles and dinosaurs and discover what make a dinosaur a dinosaur!
• Assemble a triceratops skeleton. This is a wooden skeleton approximately 4 ft in length and stands about 2.5 ft tall.
• Examine fossils and fossil replicas
• Volcano Eruption and discussion
• Rocky the T-Rex interaction time! (Interaction is 10-15 minutes of sharing facts and information about the Trex. The balance of the time is for photos. The total Rocky time does not exceed 30 minutes)
• Children may ride the dinosaurs and enjoy the arcade.

Learn  about and interact with dinosaurs of the late Cretaceous period with Rocky the TRex, Scout and Rebel. Through hands on activities learn all about  ancient Earth, Pangea and how volcanos erupt!

This party is designed for children 3-6 years old and aligns with Next Generation Science Standards. The price for this party is $550. This party is approximately a 1.5-2 hr. party depending on the number of children.

• Sort the Dino bones and match the bones to the correct dinosaur-hands on interactive game
• Watch a Baby Triceratops Scout hatch and learn all about Triceratops and dinosaurs of the late Cretaceous period
• Meet one of our baby dinosaurs. Pick between a baby Trex, baby brachiasaurus, baby raptor or baby ankylosaurus!
• Get to see and touch real fossils and very realistic replicas. Touch a Trex brain and hold real dinosaur poop!
• Volcano Eruption-Learn about volcanos and watch as one erupts before your eyes!
• Rocky the T-Rex interaction  and photo time! (Interaction is 10-15 minutes of sharing facts and information about the Trex. The balance of the time is for photos. The total Rocky time does not exceed 30 minutes)
